Fusion outputting an empty G-code file

Have a bit of an emergency here – doing my first 4th axis stuff on the Tormach (have done it before in Mach3 on my router with 4th) and I managed to generate the toolpath but when I post process, fusion doesn’t actually output any code!  Just an empty file.

 

I’ve downloaded the latest PP post processor and uploaded it to my cloud.

 

Any ideas?

 

p.s. I actually also made this toolpath in VisualCAM and it outputs fine but the feedrates are all messed up so I'm trying F360 in case it's something in the post.  The feedrate is set to 9ipm but the feedrate is constantly changing and it doesn’t seem to have rhyme nor reason.  I understand that feedrate should change with Z depth but it doesn’t. I can’t seem to figure out what’s changing the speed but something is.  As an example, while ramping down, the feedrate display on PP shows a rate of like .1ipm but the angular velocity is actually much higher than when it’s cutting the slot and reads 9ipm.

This project is due tomorrow and this is the last op! Please help!

At Post Process time, you need to enable to A axis. You will find that in your Post Dialog box. Here is what it looks like in PC, the Mac will be different:

Quick couple notes;

1) Your feedrates are going to look quite wonky. That is because the post is putting out "Inverse Feed" feedrates. This "should" work, assuming your machine accepts a G93 command (it should). To get back into IPM, command a G94

 

2) You might want to consider (in the future) stitching the model together. It's going to make things smoother for you in many areas.

YAY!!   Thank you so much!   Enabled the axis (took a while to find it on my mac) and that did the trick.  The feedrates are still a little wonky in that there's a lot of speed up slow down in some of the tight corners but that could very well be the controller as well.

 

Clearly PathPilot accepts G93 just fine, just not sure if it's doing the right thing with it though.

 

The one thing that would make this better is if I could have the ramp in between the profile paths as it leaves a little burr along the sidewall of the slot.  I need to use a really long end mill to get down in there and it's probably flexing too much.
