Fusion Dropping Geometry Selections in CAM

This has always been a random issue I've seen but was never addressed, but since this last update it has gotten a lot worse and happening in almost every file I work with.

Creating new operations, selecting all the geometry I need, finish up, good to go. If I make changes to the tool in the tool library, it will sometimes then drop any selected geometry in the operations that tool used. Sometimes I get a warning that there are no selections. But in a lot of 3D operations, it will assume I have no selections, and generate a toolpath that basically destroys the part. That makes me very nervous and have to triple check everything. It's a problem that can easily be overlooked and end up costing our shop a lot of money in scrapped tools and parts, so I hope this gets cleared up asap.

Unfortunately it's been random so far and I haven't noticed a pattern yet. Only thing I saw is it happens a lot when changing the body length of a tool.

Yes, this is a known issue and is currently being worked on. Editing tools that are in use will drop the selections.

This is a high priority for the CAM team to fix, and we should see a hotfix roll out before long. Sorry for the inconvenience 😞
