Get he following message after posting the CNC  file.

The file is not displayed in the editor because it is either binary or uses an unsupported text encoding. Do you want to open it anyway?   see below for the results.

What am I missing or doing wrong.     I have the Autodesk Post Processor Training Guide and try to follow it closely!VS code error 3.JPG

Hi @piercecharlie

You have opened a ".cnc" file which is a saved toolpath and not the post the post processor. The post has a .cps extension (Visual Studio uses the .cnc file to make NC code).

Google "editing post processors & g-code with visual studio code". The NYC CNC guys have made an excellent video that I think will show you how things work.
