Fusion 360 RPM Speed Limit Cap

Hi, I am learning Fusion 360, my machine can go up to 12000 rpm but we normally cap it at 11000rpm as a company policy. Is there any way to ensure that I can't post a file with a rpm over 11000.

Thanks,

Matt

Yes

The post processor can be modified to generate an error when the spindle speed is too high.

If you use Machine configurations you can set an RPM limit there too but it will only give you a warning, it will still let you post the code.

If you share your post here we can have a look

I have modified my postprocessor this way, that if rpm become over a limit, the post put out the max prm.
Since I work with on my machine with VC cutting speed and feed per thooth is so then no problem

Thanks for the replies guys, we are getting the post modified for a couple of other issues so I will get a limit added to the post, but I set the machine configuration as well to be sure. Cheers.
