Fusion 360 IPS stopped working?

Hey all,

 

Anyone else having trouble with Fusion IPS (in process stock) functioning?  For some reason my program stopped calculating the stock removed per toolpath and is making rest machining a pain since it is recutting everything.

 

I checked the toggle on the utilities tab and it should be on.  

 

I also used a different computer running a slightly older version of Fusion and IPS worked fine.  This morning when I used the original computer to open the same file the problem persisted.

 

I'm wondering if this is a uninstall / reinstall situation.  Just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same.

I've seen this issue pop up a few times before. I think the solution for now is to turn this Preview flag on:

 If it still persists, could you share a Fusion file that is showing this error?

Thanks will give it a shot!

 

After some work yesterday I realized IPS would work on some models but not others and was throwing some kind of mesh generation error when it didn't cooperate.  I tried inspecting and validating the model on the design tab but it passed however with the same IPS issue.

 

Will turn that feature on and report back today.

Hi Seth,

 

Works for me thanks for the tip!  I did see an increase in processing time for toolpath generation as it noted but it solved the problem for IPS to work again.
