this is my first time using this and I am trying to perform simple function to see if my desktop CNC can perform this. I have created a simple pocket in an 1 1/2" piece of stock rectangle in shape, I am given the following

v

(1001)
(Machine)
( vendor: Autodesk)
( model: Generic 3-axis)
( description: This machine has Y axis on the Table and XZ axis on the Head)
(T1 D=4.762 CR=0 - ZMIN=-5.5 - flat end mill)
(***THIS FILE DOES NOT CONTAIN NC CODE***)

(Load tool number 1 and subprogram 1001_1_2D Pocket2_T1)

Can you share your Fusion file here?

File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

What post processor are you using?

Ah, you likely have this selected:

When doing so, it's going to create a file for each tool or toolpath. Do you need to do that with your machine?

I suppose if you're working with a Personal License or a machine that doesn't have a tool changer, I can see the benefits of this. If you wish to continue with that selection, you'll need to locate the other NC code that was posted, but I would have expected to see if opened automatically..
