Fusion 360 CAM users with DMG Mori CNC (DMU 50, exactly)

Hello to all,

I have a potential client in Paris who has a DMG Mori DMU 50 CNC. He would like to switch to Fusion, but he wants to be sure the G-Code coming from Fusion postprocessor is really compatible with his machine. So, if some of you are using a DMG Mori CNC, I would love to hear from you.

Thanks for your help,

Bernard

Hi @bernard5BABD

Which controller does the customer have Heidenhain or the Siemens one?
It doesn't matter though i have tested both the fusion post with DMG DMU 60 Evo machine and DMG DMU 65. Codes from fusion should work pretty well. All we need to do is set the kinematics properly in the post.

Let me know if any help needed while configuring the kinematics

Thank you very much for your answer. I will ask for the control software used. I will certainly see with you for setting up the kinematics properly later on. They have X, Y, Z on the head, B and C on the table, if I am not wrong. Don't know if it helps.

I'll get back to you once I have more detailed information from the customer.
Thanks again,

Bernard
