So, used to have in the old tool library, separate points for z touch off and comp point for where cutter get's programed to contours. When you created a tool, you could see in the preview as shown below, a black dot for z touch and a red one for comp point. In the new tool library this is gone. Why was this feature removed? Is there a way to turn it back on?
It's impossible to know if you set up a tool right without trial and error. And if that is not frustrating enough on its own, think about what happens when you setup a tool, don't use if for a month and forget where you set the comp point. It's guess and check all over, and its probably faster to start over...
Any workarounds for this? Am I missing something?
