How to remove these two passes that go around the part? I have no additional stock and I need it to stay in "plunge outside of stock" mode

I had a quick look at this and you need to set up a machining boundary to stop it from going round the part. I've tried this in two ways.

1. I've selected the cavity edge as the boundary and applied an offset so that it will plunge outside of stock. This still tries to machine a little bit of the edge near the cavity so might not be ideal, unless the stock to leave clears your part?

2. I've drawn a sketched boundary it's still not perfect but if you play around with it you should have more control over where the tool will/won't go.

Take a look at the attached file with the two toolpaths in.

Have you tried the 3D Adaptive ? Will take longer but much easier to setup, see image below and attached file 🙂

Also, if you can change your DOC frrom 0.4mm to say 1mm then you will not get the "bleed" with the original 2D Pocket.
