FANUC Generic Post configuring to output for B Axis (control errors out with G68.2)

I'm trying to upgrade to the most recent FANUC generic Post Processor. I'd really like to employ it because I feel it would be better than the outdated one that we've been using. The updated post processor outputs a G68.2 for B-Axis moves that errors out on the 18i control. I've read in the forum about "machine configuration" and kinematics. To the best of my knowledge all that is set up but may not be making it into the post processor (or maybe I've got something awry).

Below is a couple of screenshots of the outputs.

(desired output - M62 is our B-Axis Unlock that we added)

No G68_2.png

Updated Fanuc Generic Post output.

Even if the machine configuration needs hard-coded in the post processor, I'd be fine with that. I'm just not a master at editing post processors.

Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards - Aaron

Hi @101Vance ,

you can turn off the usage of G68.2 into the postprocessor settings as highlighted in the screenshot below. Open your postprocessor cps file and set "useTiltedWorkplane" to false.

Made the edit. Now I'm getting this fail.

It looks like either my machine in fusion isn't setup correctly with the kinematics, but it appears to be all there.

Yes looks like your machine definition in Fusion is not correct, but i would then expect another error message. Did you do any other changes into the post? Can you please share your post + Fusion file?

I loaded the generic Fusion 360 machine for the 4th axis that fits our machine and so far it appears to be outputting the B axis data as needed. I'm gonna continue to test and proof this out.

THanks!
