FAGOR TURNING POST 8055T 8037T

Hello,

This is somewhat of a follow-up to an earlier post I made (I think the link is below....)

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/computer-aided-machining-cam/issue-with-a-change-to-post-processor/m-...

The short story is that I have a Fagor 8037 TS controller, and the post available from Autodesk for 360 is for another controller, 8055T.  I called Fagor today and the tech there says the programming/syntax for these controllers are the same.  So, Autodesk could add "8037" to the post description, could save some other some time.

There are a few issues with the post that I discovered....and there is a few others that have posts back in late 2016 about the I and K values for the G3 and G4s.....Fagor 8055 and 8037 must have these values (force an I0 or K0 is necessary)....I resolved this issue by using the optional R values in place of the I and Ks....but a fix would be good (refer to my last post, as someone already has the answer that I have yet to try).

Anther bug I found:  for drilling canned cycle G83, the code needs a B value.  B tells the machine whether to tap or drill, but similar to the above, a B is mandatory.  For pecking, it works, for a regular in and out drill, there is no B posted and it is an error.  I correct this manually by making the B (which is the drill step) equal to the overall depth I.  Seems to work, but I did not study closely.

Hello Paul,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  The next release of the generic Fagor turning post will contain these fixes.
