Hello,

i am trying to use multiple wcs offsets to machine three parts using G57, G58 and G59 but after posting the code its just using G57. I am pretty sure i have the settings correct. I am using an edited Fanuc milling PP.

Thanks

Pretty sure it is a PP problem then.

Tried using the latest fanuc PP and it outputs the G57, G58 and G59.

is this fixable by editing my post?

Thanks

I am sure it is fixable, but I do not have any post editing experience, at least with Fusion. You can try posting to this forum, HSM Post Processor Forum - Autodesk Community , which is specifically for post processors.

You modified this post processor for something specific, what was it intended for? If the edits are trivial, I'd almost recommend just starting fresh with an updated Fanuc post and carrying your edits over..

@seth.madore

There are no significant changes to the post, just B axis, post through and a few others.

I would prefer to change this post then start anew with changes/testing,ect.

Can i just copy the changes from the old post and paste them into the new one? Would that work?

@KrupalValawhat are your thoughts?

Thanks.

Hi @britovsekmatic128 ,

 I've looked into the post processor and it seems that someone has modified it incorrectly.

Specifically, the code 'currentSection.workOffset != currentWorkOffset' is now included within the 'if (insertToolCall || operationNeedsSafeStart)' condition. This means that users will only see the offset change code when there is a toolchange or when they use the 'Safe start all operations' post properties.

To resolve this issue, I recommend that you use the latest version of the Fanuc generic post processor, as there have been many updates since the version you are currently using.

Thanks,
