F360 drawings machine to different dimensions on bench top CNC

Hello,

I'm enclosing a file I created in F360, I'm using an older version of the software. I did a post process to all three operations. When I machine the part, instead of final thickness being 0.245", the final is 0.270"  thick.

I zero in my work  Z0 x X0 x Y0 and  recheck then run the program.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong or if there is something in the drawing that is not correct.

Thank you for any input I appreciate it very much.

How are you finding both sides? I don't see any .27 dim in the model readily.

Thank you. In my setup, I place the bit Top center on the work. The thickness of the arc is 0.245" in the drawing. But after machining it measures 0.270".  I need to machine the arc then turn the work over to machine the cup.

I hope this helps

Thank you

Thank you for insight. When I zero the Z axis I use a piece of paper so its no more than 0.004”.

Thank you again

Thank you everyone,

I am machining a new part which represents the correct thickness. My other parts were too thick. I may have solved the problem.

Thank you very much for your input and advise.
