Error in end point of circle (Siemens 808d turning)

I am trying to run a very simple test part on my new lathe.

 

I get a message in the Siemens control:  "error in end point of circle"

 

Anyone have any ideas?

Try changing to IJK format if possible.  Set the parameter "useRadius" to no in the post processor dialog.

 

There a have been issues like this before and that seemed to fix it.

Well, oddly enough it ran perfectly with 'use radius' ON.

I think my initial code posted was the incorrect one.  The error would show up if use radius is OFF (diameter mode).

I don't think useRadius is setting the diameter mode. It is determining if you want to define the arc using CR or IJK.   The below code is the exact same using each mode.

 

N101 G18 G2 X1.88 Z-0.0356 CR=0.0256

N101 G18 G2 X1.88 Z-0.0356 I0.0181 K-0.0181
