Is it possible to create a cam program that will engrave on a lathe using z x and c axis.I want to engrave along a cylinder but cannot get cutter to feed into the job on x axis and machine profile in z and c axis
The wrapping function for the Engrave toolpath is only in Beta mode currently but it is possible. The axis movement would be taken care of in the post. You can do this with 2D Contour as well if you are using line geometry.
