I seem to  have never ending issues engraving in fusion, it doesn't matter if I use groove or engrave. It constantly varies z depth on each line varying up to .005 difference

Is there anyway to fix this? When you're only engraving .010-.015 deep these differences really show up and look horrible. From what I've read everyone has these issues. This is also using a single line font, i've tried multiple different font's with no such luck.

thanks,

? The point of the Engrave operation is to vary the Z depth so that you can maintain sharp(ish) corners. If you want to only "Engrave" at a certain Z depth you should be using 2DContour or Trace operation.

Fusions engrave function uses a V carve toolpath they are meant to be adding a flat depth toggle to it one day.
