Doubled up 3d parallel tool path??

I created a 3d parallel tool path.  I selected perpendicular path.
The result had a 0 degree path than a 90 degree path than a 0 degree path than another 90 path.

Is this normal?

Without seeing your file, no clue. Can you share it?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

A quick test on my end shows only 2 passes, each at 90 degrees to each other (as I would expect)

Turn off "Multiple Depths". It appears that turning that on, and setting the value to "1" does create 2 passes. I'll ask around and see if this is intentional...

In the image above, I duplicated your toolpath and removed the Multiple Depths option. You can see the code size is exactly half in the duplicate toolpath.

Thanks for your help.  I think the finish was improved a little on the second pass.   Nice to know.  I clicked multiple depths because i thought the tool path wasnt contacting the whole area i wanted
