Hello, I've been trying to create an "upper and lower negative" from mesh surfaces for days.

The first problem is converting such a mesh into a solid, or rather, converting it so that subsequent steps

like projecting, extruding, and splitting solids work.

I'm attaching the sample file and how it should look. I can't figure it out, or rather, the conversion steps are missing.

I'm using Fusion360 with an educational license (in case there are any missing features).

Maybe someone can do it in under 3 days - that's how long I've been messing around! 😬😂

I removed the fillets around the outside, converted it and just extruded to the surface. Is that what you're trying to achieve? Or would you like to do it directly with the mesh?

(this also might be better in the design forum)

Hey George,

thanks for trying - yes thats what i am wanted. But thats an easier mesh and i got a result without removing fillets.

May you can try again with the attached file - THAT one i cannot extrude to object.

Kind regards from Germany
