Default Max Spindle Speed

The default max spindle speed is not being kept when changing tools in lathe operations.  I am not sure where the value is coming from but mine are being reset from 500 to 5000.

I see this happening too, if the tool being selected doesn't have a spindle speed assigned. I agree this seems bad. Will get it reported.

Meanwhile, if you assign spindle speeds to the tools, you can work around this.

@jeff.pek Thank you for looking into this. I am not sure what you mean but setting a spindle speed.  I think that may be some of the issue.  I don't use a "spindle speed"  I used "Constant Surface Speed"  and it was set for all of the tools in the tool library.

Yep -- if you turn that off, and set a spindle speed, this won't happen. That might not be much of a workaround, I realize.

@jeff.pek okay thanks, Like I said now that I am aware of it, it is not a big deal I just need to watch for it.

Just wanted to make sure we were seeing the same thing and let you know it may not be the safest method.
