Just curious if there is any plan to have the possibility to default parameters per operation, here I am talking about a lot of check boxes I find in different type of operations which from my knowledge can not be set as default.

Example:

Thanks

Hi @ifuASTJY,

Do you know you can right click and make parameters default? However in trying this just I have noticed an issue. You can't right click on a check box as it just toggles the state, I will put a ticket in for this.

A work around for now is to make a new facing toolpath, only edit the checkbox you want, right click in a parameter field and make all default, because you have only changed the 1 item this should be all that now differs from your normal defaults.

Hope this helps.

The toggle boxes can be set as default independent of anything else. This is done in the Compare and Edit dialog that's found when you right click on an operation in your Setup:

But on SETUP you don`t have this option.

Only way to set defaults here is to set "make all default".

Hi @Captain-DJ,

Out of interest what checkbox do you need to set in the setup dialog to default?

It's always good for us to have examples to add to the tasks for development work.

- Origin to model NOT to stock !

- orientation Z axis /X axis (better for parts that i not designed by myself)

- Default stock 3mm (not so important)

At the machine i always set origin to the part, never to the stock.

If set in Fusion to stock on the machine to the part, you need a new peace of aluminum 😉
