DATRON NEO - Probe geometry don't work

Hello guys.

I hope you can help me.

I tried the Fusion 360 manufacturer extension - Probe Geometry function. When I wanted to generate code for my Datron Neo, it failed. I think the  post processor doesn't work.

Also, I tried Probe WCS. It worked, but was weird. Datron Neo has a probe mounted on a spindle. Probe go down, starts probing, works ok but at the end the probe doesn't go up as she had.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Hi @gondasova.lucka,

You are correct, the post processor does not support this command. Does the machine support this functionality? If the answer is yes then this post should support it so i'm curious what is going on here.

Thank you for your reply. The WCS probe should definitely work, as there is a probe on the machine.
The probe geometry is a very good function, and I think Datron Neo should have it. It is not a cheap machine.

I have never used it, but there are 2 datron next post processors.

Have you tried the Datron Next surface inspection post processor?

Yes, I tried both - NEXT post processor with and without Inspect Surface. The WCS Probe NC code is the same from both post processors, and the same error message appears when I try the probe geometry function.

Hi, did any of you get Probe WCS to work on the Datron Neo?
