Cutting an overhang vertically, rather than horizontally

Hi there,

I read that it's possible to cut underneath overhangs in Fusion360 using a T slot or Lollipop mill and the contour toolpath. On testing this out it seemed to work great - see attached example.

The only issue is that as the passes are always horizontal, it's not possible to get a smooth profile when cutting deep curved overhangs with a T slot cutter.

Is there a way to achieve vertical passes in this situation? I.e the T slot cutter cutting from top-to-bottom rather than left-to-right?

You can see an example of what I mean in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p538irnnxQ

No, I don't think this would be possible. Do you have a file you could share that would provide for some decent examples? Overhang machining is still a noticeable trouble spot in Fusion.
