Custom Lathe Tools

We are currently trying to incorporate Fusion in our shop, mill department is very impressed, the lathe department is a different story. We use a lot of custom lathe tools and, unless we just haven't found good instructions, we haven't been able to create them. Even when we want to use standard PH Horn back chamfer tools there isn't a way to import or create that tool. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly, you're not wrong. Anything beyond standard turning tools are very difficult or impossible to define correctly. There is a hacky workaround of defining a similar insert shape and aligning it correctly, but you lose the ability to verify holder collisions. This is an area we hope to address in the future, but nothing more to report at this time.
