Crazy extra lines in my nc file

Hi All,

I am having an issue with strange line in my .nc files.

I am trying to cut some eggs from polystyrene using a 12mm bull nose with 100mm full flute cutter but I'm getting some mad lines on the preview and the files won't run. What am I doing wrong, am I not checking a box or something else.

Please can a guru have a look at the attached file and offer some suggestions.

Many thanks

That is one huge file - can you apply any smoothing to this?

You posted no info on your project, machine, or post processor.

Hi,

I am using an AXYZ trident, and I am trying to cut the file from 100mm polystyrene. The post processor is the the generic AXYZ one from the fusion library.

Have you got files from Fusion to work before, something a bit more simple?

The file backplots for me OK in NC Corrector.

I guess there's roughing and finishing toolpaths? NC Corrector is bogging down on this file because of the amount of data. If you're getting odd curves in your backplot I'd guess the arc format is not correct or perhaps your control only supports arc in the XY plane?

Hello,

Yes, files have been cutting. I have got to make several of these eggs and i did a test and programmed 1 half (two bits). That worked fine. I only have the problem when I try to programme more than the two bit. I file you attached is what i would like to see in my preview, but I just get the spiders web I attached.

 Thank you for your input.

Did you mean to attach some files to your last message? You can't attach files to an email reply you have to post to the forum. Picture can be pasted into the message for easier reading.

Did your test with just 2 parts use the same lead in? Your file you posted before has vertical lead rads.

For a quick test, try disabling leads and see if it previews correctly. Without leads all you have are line moves so should work.
