Confusion with end height from one toolpath to start height of next toolpath

Untitled 001.pngUntitled 002.pngUntitled 003.pngThis has me scratching my head. I have attached a photo with screenshots to explain it better than what I could in words.

Let me know what you think

So finish height is -67mm

toolpath confirms -67mm even though asked for 3mm stock to be left. Wierd because I start a model height +3mm and it still starts at model height even though asked for +3mm axial

then onto the 2nd toolpath, had to change to -64mm start previous height less depth of cut

Whats better than pictures is if you can attach the file. File>Export>*.F3D

Unfortunately unable to do that. Commercial product. I thought the pictures explain it well enough and the confusion lies within the toolpath not the part itself, hence the pictures

I know what this part is, don't blame you for not wanting to share it here!

Where is your origin located? The toolpath takes all it's depths from your WCS Z settings, so I'd start there.

Can you share file in private with an Autodesk employee? What about a sample block that represents the same issue?

Origin is located on the table, so model bottom minus 3mm, due to stock to leave. The confusing part is that all my referencing on heights is from model top.

Thanks,

Ariel
