Cnc milling differs from simulation and drives into stock

Hello,
Unfortunately the milling path of the data differs from the one in fusion. After completing the simulated path, the machine goes straight trough the stock and destroyes the piece. Tried different tests and geometries. —help!

We need a lot more information than this to actually be able to help.

 

What kind of operation are you trying to do?

Where did you place your WCS?

How do you compensate for tool length? Via length offset call of the controller or touch-off yourself?

What machine?

What controller?

What post processor did you use?

Did you simulate in the machine? How did that look?

I've never had the simulation not be correct, this is far more likely a user error than a software error. Check your coordinate systems on both the machine as well as your software first.

Are you saying when the cut is done the bit isn't coming above the stock before moving?

Hi,

I´m working with Anna and writing the details from my own account:

 

We are new to Fusion and worked with Creo before.     

We are working on a high-Z  S1000 T with WinPcNc.

 

The Problem´s we encountered where:   

1. According to the community we should use the RS 274 D as Postprocessor.     

Doing so we got some very strange bugs.     

When starting the Programm, the maschine will always first travel to the NP, than on this plane to the lead in point.      This caused some almost crashes, but because the NP was outside the stock it was still ok.       

THAN, when ending the Operation it traveld back to NP and on its way crushed completle through the material as        can be seen in the picture. 

 

2. Next we tested the WinPC NC Postprocessor from recomended from Fusion.     

Almost worse:     

First a short dipp in the Stock where NP is, than great Face milling just to go back to NP plane and crushing slowlie in the material. See the Pic.     

The worst is, that when we do Silumations everything looks great!!!   

We tried to put the lead in point where the NP is anyway so it can´t run through the Stock before starting, but it will just do it after the operation. 

We tried putting it up and down on the stock, but we have a two sided operation so it is way more convenient to put it on the bottom. 

We checked out all the linking parameters.

 

So does anybody have suggestions, we would be very welcome!
