circles in my cnc toolpath with parallel path on AXYZ

after this past thread im still having problems with this, ive removed lead in-out

Hi

 

For Some reason even though you have the transitions set to straight line you are still getting arcs on some of them

This seems to be due to "Machine Steep Areas" being turned on.

 

If we turn this off then it only makes straight line moves

You don't really need the machine steep areas turned on for a part like this with the passes going in the direction you have selected.

 

Never the less , this still seems like a bug, @seth.madore this look's like something worth investigating.

 

Another thing you can try is to change the maximum and minimum circular radius to 0 in the post properties and this will linearize any arcs in the program

Gee thx that’s a start! Will check the pass tab. I saw somewhere to raise these values in the post, but will check with zero now!

Interesting that it's giving the arcs when Machine Steep Areas is enabled. I'll get this logged!
