Cannot import post processor

With the new method of managing the post processors. I am having trouble with importing of the edited CPS files? I get "Invalid post processor".  I edit it in Visual Studio Code. I found the file I have been using on the hard drive was not being used anymore and had to export the version hiding inside Fusion 360. Made my edits and imported to try the changes made more edits and imported again. When I thought I had it done I deleted the old files in Fusion then imported again but now the Invalid error comes up and I cannot import the cps file.

Just open the folder and "Copy and Paste" the .cps file into the Folder that you use, Personal Library, Personal Cloud Library etc, for safety I always use the "Personal Post Library" and select from there to generate code, it is safer, easier to access as shown in the image below, if you do not need to use the "Cloud" for external access for yourself or others then keep things Local on your computer, same goes for Tool Libraries and your f3d files 🙂 🙂 🙂

My NC Program no longer looks like that. I think I am using a preview version.

I think it is storing it in the cloud anyway. You still have to import them when they are local on this version.

And if you edit it you have to re-import before the changes take effect so I think it makes a copy on the Autodesk cloud.

No, you are in the NC Program which is NOT the place you need to be, when posting you should be doing it from your Document unless you have many operations that you need to re-organize to save tool changes, just because it is there doesn`t mean you HAVE to use it, just keep it simple and everything is fine 🙂 🙂 🙂
