Can't get fusion to stop cutting air

There used to just be a checkbox for this, but it was removed in an update. I don't need it to cut the air through the middle of the bore because there is no material there. I have tried every option and cannot get rid of it.

Would you be able to share your Fusion file here?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d/.f3z file in your reply.

Without seeing your file, I suspect that the issue is your "Stock Definition" might be set to "From Setup Stock"?

I ended up making another op where I cut out the bore, but left the proper amount of material, and then selected "from last op" in this operation. And then when I made my CNC file I skipped the first op.

fyi you can also just disable specific toolpaths from being posted in your NC window.
