CAN FUSION DO OFF CENTER ID GROOVING ON A Y AXIS LATHE?

I have a part in my y axis lathe and the bore is off center.  I would like to do an id groove and follow the bore center, not the center of C axis.

Is this possible?

Thanks

So you are after something like interpolated turning? Where the x axis would be moving in and out with each revolution of the c axis to maintain a constant depth on an off axis feature?

No fusion does not do this and very few controls do this as well. Wouldn't the simple answer be to setup your workpiece so that the bore that needs a groove is the center of rotation?

I don't see why not, it would run in polar mode using key cutter, you don't even need Y axis.

He didn't say anything about live tooling so I assumed only a static grooving tool.
