I am now following a Tutorial on the Autodesk Fusion 360 channel on YouTube, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlCMyRv315U&list=PLmA_xUT-8UlKAYxrXxGVhQbvbvqqPm0ay&index=2) and when it cam to choosing a turning tool, I couldn't find it, In the video around the minute (14:00), where he chooses the CCMT Turning tool.

I will provide snips/pictures of my case so it can be helpful to understand what I have

Hi Jeff,

I downloaded it to this path on my local drive (C:\Users\Myusername\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\200809200142631\W.login\M\D20200415286823856\CAMTools),

And it was Automatically uploaded to the Cloud on my A360 Account.

I create local copies of all my post processors, tool libraries, and machine configs, rather than using the problematic cloud libraries. My main issue it that when I switch teams the cloud libraries from my personal hub didn't follow me. Here are the local paths (taken from my sync scripts).

OSX paths:

# Local dirs

dir_posts="/Users/$USER/Autodesk/Fusion 360 CAM/Posts"

dir_tools="/Users/$USER/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/CAM360/libraries/Local"

dir_machines="/Users/$USER/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/CAM360/machines"

Windows paths:

:: Local dirs
set dir_posts=%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%\Appdata\Roaming\Autodesk\Fusion 360 CAM\Posts
set dir_tools=%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\CAM360\libraries\Local

set dir_tools=%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\CAM360\machines

Sometimes you have to do a restart of the computer offline then load up fusion then reboot the computer go back online then if anything was stuck it should come through.

I'm not quite following what the issue is. You said you moved them directly into the local cache folder. I assume you did this while Fusion was running. And you say that they got uploaded to your Assets project tools folder. Then you're showing your side data panel, and they're not there. The side panel should be showing exactly the same thing as the browser view of that project.

Do you have different hubs?

I apologize if i wasn't clear 🙂

What i meant is in the beginning it was empty, and now its perfect, but i can't find the specific tool in the tutorials ,

so the tool

Image below shows the tools i needed , which i didn't find on the Autodesk website, so my question is, should i search manufacturers ?

I am still new to CAM

🙂
