BUG REPORT - Error: Pattern functionality is not supported for Probing toolpaths.

After updating to the latest version of Fusion this morning. Upon restart, in a working, active program, I changed the bottom height of one toolpath, and reposted my NC program - it gave this error. I've tried several more projects, and setups, all with the same results. I've been using Fusion for about five years, and probing in programs on the daily. This is blocking me from continuing to run the parts.

Grabbed the latest Haas NGC post processor from 8 days ago, same error.

Tried creating new probing routines. Same error.

Removed probing from program, posts just fine, but unacceptable solution.

It looks like this was an intentional change, aiming to solve some other issues with probing and patterns (which did exist). You can grab an older post from the online Post library, I find that #44168 works with Patterns. I'll chat with the post team to see if we can relax the restriction a bit.

Yep, that solved the issue for me - however it'd be great to be able to use the newer posts. Thanks Seth!

@ben-fortmfg Thanks for your feedback.
We are already working on a way to be less restrictive in that manner.

We've improved the Probing/Patterns issue significantly (to the extent that we can). The updated post should be available early next week if you want to give it a spin 🙂
