Do you mean this Bore toolpath:

Or this one:

You should be using the first example. but I can't say that I've had any issues with it, even though I've used it several times recently

Can you share an example that is not working so we understand what you are dealing with?

File > Export > Save to local folder. Return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

You could right clink on the file in the Data Panel and select "Share Public Link" or just invite me to the project

That's because the fingerboard area is not along the same plane as the Headstock. You selected the Fingerboard area in your Setup. Try selecting the Headstock area and you will be fine

I am having the same issue with the bore tool path not working with an empty message log... i have used this tool path with a similar set-up successfully many times. There are some differences that should be noted, I have converted all the bodies into components. I then copied each component for a multiple of 2 of each set I did not paste as new though so they are connected, however as far as I knew the CAM should only be concerned with the model itself and not with the bodies' dependency on the parent component.bore toolpath no beunobore toolpath no beuno

You would need to post a model so it can be worked out what is wrong To do this Go to File -> Export and save as a .F3D Archive File and attach it to your next post, if you can not post the file you can PM it to me or say in your next post you can not post the file and one of the Guys that do NDA work will help.

thank you for your reply... I ended up figuring it out, kind of. Even though I aligned the pasted component to a body derived from a native plane, it was out of whack somewhere along the lines. Instead I re-pasted and used the move tool, point-to-point, instead of the align tool, it worked and my parts are on their way. Hope my hair pulling helps someone else...

You should use joints for this, of course you also would need all parts as components as well. Both of these are best practice, use components, avoid move\align and layout using joints. Reading your first post you should be designing using Rule#1, converting bodies into components is not a good idea.
