Bore operation not valid/fails on Mirrored components.

Using a 2D bore operation on a model set works on the first hand operation (right)

Mirror the components in model space, and jaws to a 2nd operation (left hand) 

Duplicate the original right hand operation (in this case op3).  re associate the operations to the new mirrored model set and the same 2D bore operation will not resolve.   giving the following error shown in attachment.

Peter, it's been a while!

Your bore operation is failing because the bore is not perpindicular to the surface you have selected for the Z axis. Turning on Tool Orientation and selecting the bore gives us this:

So.....something was aligned incorrectly.

why would only mirroring the part misalign the axis?
