B-axis swivel head kinematics and tool length offset

Hello

I want to add a swivel head (B-axis? rotating around Y-axis) to one of my existing mills. The machine is a typical 3-axis with a typical rotary that rotates around X. The machine runs on Fanuc-type gcode and in this configuration it will be very simple in m-codes, just spindle start, stop and coolant, not even tool change, but i do need it to do 5ax contouring. Controller does not support TCP.

I have configured the kinematics on the setup menu and on a simple block with holes at an angle, i do get a correct output using one of the Doosan post-processors, meaning that the A and B angles are correct.

The question now is, how do i handle tool length offset? More specifically, how do i set it up so that it compensates for B-axis movements? Presumably i need to know what the distance is from the center of rotation of the B axis to the tip of the tool, because the longer the distance, the bigger the interpolated XZ move will have to be to follow a radius. But is this something that is handled by Fusion or by the post processor?

Thanks!

Typically you make your Setup WCS the center of rotation, and touch the tools off AT that Z height. The post then deals with the x/y/z adjustments from it being at an angle.
