automatic design rule checking is standard for PCBs. However, is there some equivalent to mechanical parts? My contract manufacturer has a set of bending specifications that say e.g. for a z-shaped bend the stepped bend height needs to be a minimum of x mm.
My current work flow is to design a part, export it, upload to the contract manufacturer's site, get the results of their rule check and then update the design. This process is cumbersome and error-prone. Is there some automated way to do so?
