Arrange Command

Hi,
I am using Fusion 360 with woodworking. I use the Arrange command to layout the parts on a panel. Some of the parts need to be rotated by 90 degrees in order to go with the correct wood grain direction.
I was trying to see how to do it and played with the buttons/rotate scroll tool to no avail.
Is the feature of rotate is part of the Arrange command, and if so can I be directed to how to do that?
Thanks.

Grain Direction Control (orientation in Arrange) is part of the Manufacturing Extension, not part of the base license.

Create a manufacturing model  and edit it.  Go to Modify>Arrange and create the arrangement.

Once you have your arrangement (I put them in a sketch the size of my workpiece) then go to Modify>Move/Copy.  Select  "Components" in the dialogue box, Select the component that is in your arrangement in the sketch that you want to rotate.  The Move/Rotate Triad comes up on the component.  The triad can be positioned at different points on the component when you select the component.  Grad the handles to rotate 90 degrees or input values in the dialogue box.  May overlap other components.  Either input offset values in the dialogue box or drag the component where you need it to be.  Be careful that you only move it in the plane of the sketch.  Click okay.  Screen shot is after rotation and move in Y and X.  Only the X move shows up in the dialogue box as the Y move was done first.  I move each direction independently so as to not cause any shift in the Z direction

No  Need for the extension - just a bit of work to re-arrange the components.

May be other ways to do it  - this works for me.

Just did some playing around - this can be done in the Design workspace.  Just have to Create Copies checked so your model is not blown apart.  Involves a Capture Position.  In the Manufacturing workspace does not seem to need a capture position - no idea why.  Hope this helps and I have not added more confusion.

Edit:  An alternate solution is an App called Mapboards Pro from the Fusion App Store.  Seems to get good reviews.

This is likely because the Manufacturing Models are actually a copy of all the models in the Design space and not triggering the Capture Position flag (loose explanation)
