Analysis should(nt) hide selections

Is this intentional? Is this the best way to handle things?

I have no idea where my selection is!

because the analysis removed it (and those dots are WAY too small, that really needs to be looked into!)

The behavior you are seeing is a known interface quirk in Autodesk Fusion's CAM/Manufacturing workspace, where active Accessibility or Section Analysis meshes visually "block" or clip through toolpath geometry selections. While you can technically still select hidden edges or faces through the shaded analysis geometry, the blue selection highlights are buried underneath the analysis overlay, making it nearly impossible to see what you clicked. How to Fix ThisToggle Analysis Visibility: Expand the Analysis folder in your browser tree on the left. Click the Eye icon next to your section analysis to turn it off while selecting geometry. Turn it back on once selections are made.Switch Visual Styles: Press Ctrl + 4 (Windows) or Cmd + 4 (Mac) to switch your display mode to Shaded with Hidden Edges. This forces selection outlines to render through the solid analysis body.Adjust Model Opacity: Right-click your component or body in the browser, select Opacity Control, and drop it to 50%. This lets your bright blue selection highlights bleed through the face.Use the Long-Click Selection Menu: Hover over your target area, click and hold the left mouse button for one second. A depth menu will appear, allowing you to cycle through and select precise edges obscured by the analysis mesh.

This is unhelpful and incorrect, in the context that the OP is asking.

Wouldn't it be weird though if there was some random point floating out in space that was from an edge/point that no longer existed (because of analysis).
On the other hand, we don't do that with toolpath contour selections, those remain:

I do agree that the "selected point" is way too darn small

Not overly weird seeing as they are only set to be displayed anyway when you are intentionally selecting/highlighting the Selection box/height to begin with. Seems weirder to show nothing at all! Maybe 30% transparent if it's in an analyzed side of a plane or half zebra marked to indicate that?

I think the dot could easily be 300% the size without causing issues.
