After April update, CNC head stays down while traveling to next cut

Hi,

Since the April 2022 update, my machine head completes a cut, raises the head then lowers the head back down into the same position and then moves to the next cut. I've attached a zip file of the .cnc.

Hi @williamlFL, When I look at the code in NCveiwer.com it reads out as if the Z axis is flipped. Could you share your file, or a sample file that reflects your selections and settings? File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply. Also what machine are you running so we can take a look at the post processor you are using.

Here is the link.

I tried to export it as a .f3d file but that option was not in the export list. Will a .f3z file work?

As for the inverted z-axis, the cnc was set up as I normally do.

Some background. We are cutting sheets of foam. We always set up the sheet of foam and parts with the z-axis at the bottom. When we run the simulation on Fusion 360, the blade comes up. From your screen shot it looks like the knife is staying in the material, correct?

Looking at the file everything looks good as you said, I was able to post out the code using a different post processor and the results looked as I think they should. Can you upload or tell me which post you are using?

Thank  you for taking time to help with this.

I went to preferences and switched to the legacy post processing dialog. It fixed our issue. However, this is the second time this happened. Do you know why this would keep happening?

Hey! Very glad you found a solution that works. I have heard of preferences changing after an update, I don't know why sorry. Looking at the other multicam posts in the Fusion library they seem to have the same problem of a negative Z axis.

Hi @williamlFL,

Please could you share a copy of the CNC file that was exported with the legacy post dialog that works correctly on your machine tool? Looking at your post, I can't see how choosing the legacy option would change the output

I was not able to upload the .cnc files. I emailed them to you.
