Advanced Arrange - Basic functions not available

Hi I wanted to provide some feedback on the (advanced) arrange, not advanced at all really. I think it's ridiculous to expect people to pay £1500 a year to be able to rotate components on an arrangement let alone have more than one envelope. I get that the manufacturing add on has huge capabilities but its very irritating that a simple feature is thrown into that add on and there is no option but to pay way too much for it. I'd suggest a small manufacturing add on should be available, although Fusion is expensive enough as it is I think it should just be a normal feature. Arrange is useless for cutting any board with grain. I hope Autodesk reconsiders these features and thinks about the smaller companies and people using Fusion who can't justify the price of the manufacturing add on. At that price I would just now with solid works as that's the industry standard.

I'd like to add that I would use Mapboards Pro which used to work fine but since AD are constantly updating it doesn't work anymore for me and has errors. Not really supporting the Fusion 360 community, more using them for ideas then making things extortionately expensive and aiming for massive manufacturing companies. Disappointed

@gustave.andre ,

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, rotation control and grain alignment are currently limited to Advanced Arrange (requires the Nesting & Fabrication extension). As we enhance the Arrange command, we're constantly aiming to improve the offering at both levels - Basic and Advanced. We'll take this feedback into consideration when evaluating what functionality can be converted from Extension to Core.

Great, hopefully Autodesk will realise its not a fancy feature to be able to rotate parts on the arrange and include in the core functions. The nesting add on is hugely powerful for big production lines etc, makes sense but the auto arrange feature should allow furniture makers to get the right grain direction on their boards as standard, I would of thought most users would agree. Especially as now the advanced arrange isn't available in the manufacturing space it means your design gets very messy trying to arrange in the design space, so I just end up not using the arrange feature at all. I feel this is a paywall block and not great feedback on Autodesk and their intentions for this software....
