I have been using Fusion 360 for a Phillips HAAS/Meltio Hybrid. Through some time, I have noticed a few issues with the Additive Workspace.

There is no head simulation for the additive toolpaths. This hybrid is 5-axis, so it is important to be able to have collision detection and head simulation.

Also, the infill options are limited with Metal DED. I want to be able to have sharp corners on the infill. It defaults as a radius move to connect passes.

Hi @daniel.hyler6J7W7 ,

Thanks for reaching out and providing feedback. As you mention, simulation is important for verifying multi-axis motion and unfortunately it is something we don't have enabled for these toolpaths right now, however it is something we hope to have in the future.

Regarding the infill options, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on what's is missing. Would you be willing to have a quick Zoom call with me to discuss your requirements?

Thanks,

Rob
