Additional Additive Simulation Materials??

Is there a guide to adding additional metal additive properties in additive simulation?

Im running some EOS equipment and the only material associated with the M280 is aluminium while there's a much broader catalogue of materials I would like to simulate.

I did try creating my own material definition but without much success.

Hi @bphelanJJN9L ,

Thanks for taking the time to speak to me on Tuesday, and for bringing up this issue there as well.

Currently, for creating new material print settings, the workflow involves copying a current material print setting and using it as a template. You can then edit the print setting's build settings and thereby create a new material print setting for additive build.
However, it is not possible for users to create a new material for Additive simulation, since this requires a PRM file (which contains material property information etc)

However, I  can confirm that for the EOS machines, more material print settings will be available shortly for both additive Build & Additive Simulation.
