Adding or removing axis from HAAS post processor

I have two Haas mills a VF1 three axis and a VF2 with a rotary A axis. The only post processor I can currently find is a generic Haas post that says it's for both the VF1 and VF2. The problem I am having is I can't turn the axis off in the post when I don't need it and the VF1 errors when all the A axis outputs are in the code so I have to manually go in after and delete all the axis code from every tool. I would think there should be a "switch" to turn the axis on and off as needed somewhere in either the post processor or the fusion software but I can't find anything.

Hi @Anonymous

You can use this post 3 axis

https://cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts?p=haas_trunnion

for 4 axis you can use the Haas A-axis post

https://cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts?p=haas_with_a-axis

Ok I just tried the  haas_trunnion post and now I get both  A and B axis called out for each tool as well as brake and release commands that I don't even use when I use the A axis.

Most of the post are configured with all the 5 axis codes you can control it in the post properties dialogue

this post by default it works as 3 axis post.
