ADDING MAX Z DEPTH OF EACH TOOL TO A SET UP SHEET

Hello everyone,

I am working on improving the set up sheet I give to the operators. I was able to figure out how to edit and add different columns to the excel template by finding different available variables on the .cps file. One thing I want to add is the maximum z depth for each tool to the tool section of the setup sheet. This information can be found at the top of the program when using the haas post.

My question is how can I add the max z depth of each tool to the setupsheet template?

Cheers,

Loren

Which setup sheet template are you using?

I did this example with the non-2007 template, but it works the same. I like to put the two files (excel post and excel template) in a new folder
step 1.PNG

step 2.PNG

Then modify a column in the tool table to have the property $tool.minimumZ and then save the template. That's it! you may need to format the cell so that it is a number with a certain number of decimals shown before saving.

step 4.PNG

Hi,

Did you Change anything in the .cps File ? I Have Test the $tool.minimumZ Command, but they didnt Work. (Both Setup Sheets, Normal xls and 2007 xlsx didnt Work)

Thanks and Regards from Germany
