adaptive pocket not full depth when contour is narrower than tool width

Hello,

I am new to Fusion 360. I've been carving a clockface on the CNC today and running into problems I cannot solve.

The 2nd adaptive pocket that I do with a smaller bit correctly traces the imported SVG map. But only for one pass. Afterwards where the contour (not sure if this is the right word?) is narrower than the tool width it no longer carves it to full depth. The larger bits are correctly carved. This is confirmed in the simulator and in real life.  The tool is set onto the centre of the boundary with a -0.2mm offset as this offset was needed for the correct level of detail and the tool width is 3mm.

Please see the file attached.

What do I need to do to fix this? I only have one project and have already run the CNC program 😞

The toolpath in question (which is a Pocket Clearing, not 2D Adaptive) is model aware, so it cannot and will not willingly violate the model. What is your expectation for the areas of the part that are narrower than the actual tool; it just machines them anyways?
