Anyone else curious as to how this will play out in Fusion's manufacturing environment? I have not had the pleasure of using CAMplete but I have certainly heard people sing its praise over the years.

To put it mildly, yeah. I'm surprised nobody else has posted about it yet...

We have a few seats of Camplete, it came with some of our machines.  We don't use it that much because we do have an aftermarket gcode simulator, but when we post 5-axis stuff from NX (until Fusion is up to speed in that department of course... 😜), we have to use it (just the way our posts are), and this is a complete simulation package and post processor into 1 (for some specific machines tho).  We are only scratching the surface of what it can do, because we basically just use it to post out the 5-axis gcodes, but it allows to transfer from a machine to another and do a lot of other nifty stuff supposedly.  I don't think the full blown version would be in Fusion, but this is definitely a very very good news!  On the other end... we'll now have to subscribe to it I guess if we want to keep using it...  😬

It will save the cam guys a lot of work, they do not have to do there own version now.

There have been hints that they was working on implementing machine-simulation into Fusion.
Instead of reinventing the wheel, why not use something existing, and instead of buying parts of the technology and patch it together, why not buy the whole team 😉

Fusion User - When are we going to have full machine simulation like every other CAM user ?

AD - Hold my beer...

This can only be a good thing in the long run for Fusion as I'm sure it will become integrated.
