A-Axis Haas Post

I need to refresh my memory. Which Haas A-axis post is preferred for Haas indexers running on VF series Haas mills?

I see there are two posts available and I do not know how they differ.

I can't answer your question but looking at your Fusion file, I don't see any A axis work, you can clamp part down and get it all done, or am I missing something?

The key slots are offset, so we're using an indexer. There is an A axis post and an "inverse time" A-axis post. Does anyone know anything about these posts?

OK, I see small offset in Y axis but bottom of slots are all flat, no rotary work, just 3 axis work.

Still someone else needs to weigh in on post difference,............ not my domain.

Sorry, my mistake, it would not post with 3 axis post, only with A axis, still I don't know which one you need.

They are not offset in Y. They are clocked. I need some advice about the pros and cons of the A axis Haas posts.

If your only indexing use plain A axis post, If doing simultaneous work you will probably want the inverse time post.

Actually, looking at the post itself, it appears the a-axis post actually DOES have the inverse time properties in it. Furthermore, going on the HSM Post Library website, the "inverse time" post no longer exists there. It appears they rolled it all into one, which is a great thing, one less post to maintain

No, I'm saying that the A axis non inverse time post on the HSM library I linked to contain both positional AND inverse logic
