5 AXIS GIFTS

Hey all,

The shop I work at recently bought a new UMC-500SS as our first 5 axis machine, and first machine into the 5 axis world. Being as we are a small shop, family shop, I'd like to make a "gift" on our new machine, for the boss man.

Needing some ideas. I've seen those Autodesk Mugs that look pretty cool, but we have cool shelf stuff. I want something he might be able to use, or have on his desk as a talking point when customers come in. Dont really want to do a turner cube, or pen holder and pen.

Check out Grabcad.  They are quite a few cool 3d models that you can download and modify for a nice show-off part.

Thingiverse is another good spot, but these are usually .stl files reserved for 3d printing, but you can machine them too.
