Hi Guys, following on from my post the other day about setting the axis's up and orientation of them, today i tried to run a simple program where i was using the 4 th and 5th axis like a dividing head/ indexer, which i could get them to the correct osions but when the tool came down to start machining a pocket it didnt componensate and used the original g54 work offset. Can any one offer any advice please.

Yes i understand, using the folders for the work offsets makes it a lot easier if you have to put the part back in to do any modifications. I'm just trying to set up a spread sheet to calculate the positions so i have the option to do it either way.
