4axis live milling lead in issue

I'm trying to turn a bell shaped part on a 4th axis, with the ball end of the bell facing out of the 4th.

I'm using the rotary tool path and it dives into the part on all the initial cuts. Has no option for tangential extension.

Anyone know a trick/different approach to solve this issue.

What happens if you extend tip of the bell at center line for radius of the end mill ?

For example, .5" ball end mill, add .01 diameter x .25" long extension to tip of the model, set origin at the tip of extension.
